Role of Patrol Officers

ROLE OF PATROL OFFICERS

In order to insure your safety,  patrol officers are present on the trails to enforce the law and regulations. Trail patrol officers, as well as provincial patrol officers, are volunteers recruited to insure the safety and security of snowmobilers. They have to meet high selection criteria as required by regulations. When they notice a breach, they can fill out a general report of breach. This report gives rise to the issue of a report of breach. Patrol officers also help police during their interventions in the trails of the club. Their work requires know-how and dedication, and they deserve our full collaboration.

In case of an accident on the trails, Patrol officers coordinate their interventions with the first responders appointed by the 911 service.

IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY ON THE TRAILS

In the event of an accident with wounds requiring the intervention of first aid services, please contact 911 first and then our Head Patrol Officer.
